BibDB - Bibliographic Resource Database

BibDB is a database with GUI front end for entering and manipulating your references for technical papers prepared with LaTeX (or any of the TeX derivatives) text processing software. It was written and is being maintained and developed by Eyal Doran in Israel.

From the main link http://www.mackichan.com/BibDB/default.htm, you can obtain Windows binaries for the program; source code for the program (this open source stuff is really working!); and you can sign up for the majordomo mailing list. Traffic on the mailing list is pretty sparse, as the program is fairly mature. I wouldn't mind seeing a Usenet newsgroup started for it, though. That way, at least, the postings are archived on deja.com.

There is no installation program, but all ya gotta do is extract some of the files from the downloaded .zip file. Don't worry, it's not much of a hassle and the result is well worth it. For installation instructions, open the read.me file in the .zip file.
