What Does LaTeX Look Like?

One hears a lot about LaTeX, and sometimes one hears how difficult it is.  The purpose of this page is to give you a very brief look at what the input file looks like and just how nice the output looks.  First, the input:

Often the product is sent off to the journal or book publisher as camera-ready copy and/or a postscript file.
