Peyton Z. Peebles wrote the textbook, Probability, Random Variables, and Random Signal Principles, assigned for my very first "Probability" class in Electrical Engineering. I took that class in 1982 at the University of Texas at Austin and I still refer to it. This image is of the latest edition.
